Betsie Valley Trail
Hike or bike along this 27-mile trail, which stretches from Frankfort to Crystal Mountain. If you just need a quick break from the beach, try the “Beach-to-Beach” trail, a two-mile section of the trail between Frankfort and Elberta. From there, hardcore cyclists or hikers can continue on the nine-mile trail to Beulah, which takes you along the Betsie River and the shores of Crystal Lake.
The Betsie Valley Trail stretches from Frankfort to Crystal Mountain.
The 13-mile stretch from Beulah to Thompsonville cuts through Manistee National Forest, which features wetlands and a beaver dam area. Finally, there is a three-mile section of the trail that ends at Crystal Mountain.
