Platte River Campground
This year-round campground has everything from RV sites (with modern conveniences such as electricity, hot showers and sanitation dumps) to rustic tent sites to walk-in sites. Camping fees are $16 plus $5 for electrical hook-up. Walk-in sites are $12, and there are discounts for larger groups.
Only 48 of its 179 campsites can be reserved. To reserve a campsite, call (800) 365-2267 or go to http://reservations.nps.gov.
