Kehl Lake Natural AreaThis 180-acre preserve has about two miles of trails (about a 1.5 hour hike), featuring everything from shoreline (most of it s protected) to pine and maple forests to wetlands, which are home to more than 100 species of birds. There is also a viewing platform at the far end of the trail. Motorless boats can access the lake on its north side at the end of Kehl Road. To get to Kehl Lake Natural Area, take M-201 about two miles north of Northport. Take a left on Snyder Road and then a right on Sugarbush Road. At the corner of Kehl and Otis, go straight on Kehl.
