Movie Theatres in Traverse City & surrounding areas
Traverse City itself has two cinemas, both of them on the west side. The Horizon Cinemas is part of the Horizon Outlet Mall on U.S. 31, and the
Grand Traverse Cinema is inside the Grand Traverse Mall, on the corner of Airport Road and U.S. 31.
The area has many more places to see great movies, however, including Benzie County's Cherry Bowl Drive In.
With the resounding success of the Traverse City Film Festival, and the occasional "celebrity sighting," northern Michigan is a great place for red carpet enthusiasts.
